The Cycle Cynch is a complete system from the Handle Bar Collars to the Straps and Hooks.
Systems like the Canyon Dancer require additional Straps to secure your Bike or ATV.

This is the Cycle Cynch Sytem Below purchased from Vesuvio Racing. It is one of the best ways to tie your bike down and not worry about messing up the Hand Grips or controls. It is very easy to use, and adjust.

You begin by slipping the Collar over the Hand Grip on each side like this....

Right Side Hand Grip
Right Side Hand Grip.

Notice the clamp that holds the strap tight in this picture. It should be familiar to anyone that has
ever tied a bike down. It's a common piece of hardware on tie down straps.

On the Left Side Hand Grip, the label on the Cycle Cinch goes here, I think.
Actually I'm not sure if this is correct, if someone can help me out here I'd appreciate it.
I lost the instructions that said which side the label actually goes on.

You tighten the connecting strap, but only enough to take the slack out of it and make it snug.

All you need to do is tighten it enough to pull the Hand Grip Collars inward so they do not slip off the Handle Bars.

When you connect the Cycle Cynches hook end to your secure point like in the photo below,

The Hand Grip Collar will keep your hand Grips from being mangled as the straps are tightened.

When the straps are all pulled tight and the bike is securely held down, you can see how
gentle the Cylce Cynch is on your Grips and Switches. Below

Even on the throttle side, there isn't any strain on the Grip in any way. Your bike is held
nice and tight.  Below

Well this concludes tonights episode of "Using The Cycle Cynch" in HD TV.
Please stay tuned for tomorrow's episode of, "Installing This Thing"

with no commercial interruptions!

Is it UV Protected?
I had some straps that were destroyed by the sun and I almost lost my bike because they broke at the most inopportune moment.

As with any type of Motorcycle Gear, when not in use it should be kept clean and dry, and stored away from direct sunlight and heat. Myself, I examine my straps before I use them. if the show any signs of fraying, tearing, unraveling, punctures, fuel contamination rips or tears, I don't use 'em!

Are the Cycle Cynch Straps UV Protected? I would imagine so but I can not say for sure.
So my answer is, I don't know.
